Oil catch can with Edelbrock Eforce?
Anyone have any experience with an oil catch can with the Edelbrock Eforce? I'm looking at doing some track days starting next year and I'm wondering if this is needed or just a wast of time (I am so far beyond waste of money at this point that really isn't even a consideration...).

Catch cans will be worth it with any boosted application imo.

the more safety trinkets you put into the vehicle, the longer your car will go before your engine goes all ALLAHAKBAR on you.

I'm running dual radiums on edelbrock. The driver's side will catch a little every 6 months, the passenger side has been bone dry. It's worth it to keep the heat exchanger from getting gummed up with oil blow by return to the manifold in any case.

![]() AOS/Catch cans area huge benefit, and provide a lot of benefit if you're tracking an NA car/driving an NA car too hard for the street, or if you have force induction. We often talk about keeping oil out of your intercooler, but not about WHY. When oil is in your induction path, it's doing more than just consuming oil: -Lowering octane, (which invites knock and detonation.) -Losing oil from the pan/consumption -oil build up, which goes past just the intercooler, but also into your intake manifold, and various lines/ports through the breathers and inlet setup which can gum things up and cause improper function, as well as turbulence.

I mounted a Radium PCV catch can on the driver side. Pics here:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...8&postcount=64 I check it about every 6 months and get about an ounce out.
