What kind of reactions are you getting in your BRZ?

6. A '92 Civic hatchback owner gave me a thumbs up. At a redlight we chatted and I pointed out how his lowered car probably has good handling feel. He replied, "Not as good as yours. Mine is front heavy" (with a V6 swap from an Acura 3.2 CL).
7. Stopped by a Scion dealership to look at the FR-S. Three salesman were drooling at my car noticing the extra gizmos inside/out that the FR-S lacks and wished they could sell cars like mine in WRB. They said the extra amenities are well worth the cost.

Just about the same stuff as already posted. I'm 61 so I gets strange looks driving;-) Sold my STi to my son. Female coworker told him the STi was a "cute" car! Go figure.

An older guy in a BMW stopped traffic in a parking lot to discuss the car, he first thought it was electric haha. Then right after some guys in a 350Z stopped traffic to ask about the car.

Other than that people have been giving me thumbs up in general .

After a couple weeks with not that many looks, I get all this just today;

1. Couple asks me to roll down my window. The husband ask why I bought the BRZ and not the FRS. I just told him I liked the options better.

2. Was on the highway and a Mustang was exiting. As I passed him, he changed his mind and followed me two more exited the same place as me.

3. Was cleaning a little bit at my brothers shop, A guy in WRX with his gf pulled and in and, with a HUGE SMILE asks.."Is that yours?" I said yes, He said "that's fu...beautiful!!!"

4. After dropping my friend off at work, I was passing a bus stop with a bunch of people, the little kid yells out "THATS MY CAR!!!"

all this happend within 3 hrs. (oh, I did wash it last night for the first time)

Today, while waiting at a drive through, a couple on a GTI pull over ask me to roll down window and ask me "how are you liking it"? He was very impressed by the looks and specs.

Last Wednesday, a kid in an Accord caught up to me and asked how much HP and when did they came out? Said it was gorgeous.

In Miami the car really does not command much attention.

I was at a car show today and just for shits and giggles I entered my car into the "imports" category. Lots of people were checking it out trying to figure out exactly what it was. I spent a ton of time discussing the car with many of the other participants. In the end the BRZ got second place losing to an Audi TT. Of course I was running the BRZ bone stock and he had done quite a bit to his car.

Yesterday on the way home from work:

1) Two guys in a Miata are yelling at me while cruising along at 45 on a busy highway (for those in Seattle, it was Hwy 99, just south of the viaduct), "What kind of car is that?!?" Nothing less cool than trying to talk to someone who's pacing you at 45 mph.

2) Guy in an older Nissan truck was behind me, and I see him leaning over to grab something from the other side of the truck, a little bit out of control cause we were going 60 on the freeway. Then he pulls up along side, to my left, and he's leaning all the way over in order to snap some picks on his phone. It was nuts.

That's just the more memorable stuff. Plenty of others wanting to have conversations at the stop light, parking lot, etc.

Seriously, all the attention is funny, but it's getting a little out of hand. After the last couple of incidents on the freeway in traffic, I've been a little worried that one of these folks is going to cause an accident.

Don' t even have mine yet, but was seeking feedback from a co-worker about a detailing place near where he lives that does Huper Optik tint and mentioned my looming new BRZ. He'd never heard of it, Googled it, and replied "that's gorgeous!". He'll no doubt be first in line for a ride when I take delivery in 2 weeks.

headed to work yesterday and thought a guy on a motorcycle was gonna wreck staring at my car. he had his whole upper body turned and leaning sideways looking at the front of the brz while doing 40mph!

stopped to get gas today and an older guy came up just as i was getting in the car to ask wtf it was.

also today i had some guy look at the car....then like 5 seconds later do a double take and stare at it.

Lots of looks during the meetup we had today, there were 4 WRB BRZ's and 1 white BRZ, all right behind one another. Everyone we passed was staring at us as we drove by, some guy on a tractor gave us all a thumbs up too.
