I thought about taking the week off, but am taking from Dec 25 - Jan 3, so figured I'd come into the office and not have to worry about parking for a change.

More than half of our network engineering staff is German. We keep a SharePoint calendar to see who is out of the office when, and I swear they throw a few extra "bank holidays" in there knowing that we don't check.

I want to say at least 50% of the cars I saw there including taxis had nice aftermarket wheels, volks, works, sportline, BBS, etc. and the ones that I was able to see up-close appeared to be very real.

Surprisingly, they have a VERY healthy tuner culture. Saw a few VERY nice, tastefully modded cars there and very little shitbox bargain tuner cars.

I saw them at least 7 times before Bon died. I saw a kid, probably around 14, with an AC/DC shirt on the other day. Made me giggle a little and smile. Great music.

Still waiting on my SC. It has been beautiful weather the last few days and I want to drive my car. Its been sitting at the shop since 11/3. Sucks!

I don't know. We have Local affiliates of the major networks, but I don't know of a bay area "sports channel"?

That's a long wait. Every now and then I consider getting a supercharger. Install is simple-ish enough that I could tackle it in a weekend. Big cost though, looking at around 6 grand all said and done for one up here. That's 6 grand better left in my pocket, or put into the retirement fund. Or, put towards a new car.

Plus the whole thing about me really only putting mileage on in the winter makes it a nearly 100% waste of money. I think this past year, I only put about 3000km on it between March and now. Will likely only put about that same amount on it from now until March.
