i have my gps system in the trunk and its wired to my car so it never dies and they cannot cut the connection. I can view where my car is anytime from the company website or a app anytime.

I also was told no OEM alarm was available when I picked up my car last week. They were, however selling an aftermarket alarm but I decided to wait for OEM..

Mine uses the OEM remote and it's guarantee that if my car gets stolen with the alarm installed, I'll get another car for free.

This is the most ignorant post I've come across on this forums thus far.

For many people the addition of a car alarm or immobilizer saves them substantial money on their car insurance. For people who are not rich or spoiled kids living with their parents for free, these things are important and actually do factor in when purchasing a new car.

I know this car is going to attract a lot of young "ricers" and wanna be enthusiasts, but please try and keep your inner 13 year old 4chan personality out of the forums. K thnx bye.

BTW the car does have an immobilizer. Check the Scion site, it's listed as a standard feature.
