My kids don't even fit in the erstwhile rear seats anymore and the last time I tried to fit an adult back there.... well I'm still apologizing every time it comes up. So WTH, why not!

So you have a spare tire but if you have a flat on the side of the road you can't put it on because you don't have a jack?

And if he has a head on or roll over he had a nice projectile of death flying around in the cabin.

he could strap it down with a bunjee cord but they are a couple of ounces, it would slow him down.

He has it strapped down and I give it about .00001 seconds of staying that way in a crash.

No jack- I gave the scissors jack to my son who's car had none. The floor jack made a racket everytime I hit a bump it had to go. Oh well. The spare is strapped down with a ratchet strap, no bungee thank you very much. It is not going anywhere.

I really didn't think this would be a big deal, I just gutted the rear of the car's interior. But here's more pictures. No curtains yet. I changed the spare around and I returned the cardboard floor to the trunk so I can put stuff in there and protect that module and wires. The spare doesn't make the noise I thought it would, so no need to put it on the cardboard. You can see the ratchet strap (and my extra shirt).

See that tiny little speaker? The stereo in this thing sounds terrible for a reason and those will be replaced soon. I need to take off the door card and find why that damn speaker rattles so bad when ANY bass hits at all. the way I figure, removing all that plastic can only help with the rattles this car has.

The rattle in the doors you speak of is the little plastic cover that goes on the switch box. I put duct tape around my switch box and that did the trick. I was fixing the stay checks so while I had the door panel off I fixed the rattle.
