Any DIY body shops or classes in PDX?

Or any member with body work tools willing to trade some supervising and teaching time for money or beer?

I want to scrape the ugly off the front end of my 86. I don't think it would need a whole lot of work and I would hopefully learn something. A bit of cutting, filling, sanding, viola.

I don't see any continuing education classes at PCC.

Is your goal to do a bumper swap? Or do you want to modify your current bumper?

Mod. There are a number of 13-16 aftermarket versions that are nice, but I figure it won't take much work to mod the ugly off the stock 17. Cheaper, too.

Cool! So, are you are planning on cutting/grinding on your current bumper; then using resin and fiberglass sheet/cloth to modify it?
...sanding, shaping, priming, painting, clearing... Done!
