Update:
Apparently I was not the only one to get a laugh out of the poor enunciation in the commercial.
Heard the commercial on the way home and the end is now changed to "from puck drop to the end of the game".

It was a stupid tag line anyhow. No matter how boring the game is, you still have to get out of your seat to leave.

Hey guys,

Been popping in for a second or two here and there, but missed a lot. My Dad died yesterday morning. Went peaceful in his sleep. I will miss my Dad.

Had mom over for dinner and watch her favorite golden state warriors tonight. Got a whole steak, potato and veg in her. She probably hasn't had a home cooked meal, or a whole meal since this last episode with my Dad started 9 weeks ago. We had a great night visiting.

My car is still at the shop waiting for its new SC, but it hasn't been such a priority lately.

Sorry to hear of your Dad passing. How old was he?

It's good that your Mom lives close.

He was 79.

My mom still lives in the home i grew up in, which is 3 miles away. My mom is like 85# now, so good to see her eat.

Thank you for your concern. It helps. This is the first time anyone this close to me has died. I don't know how to act.

Now my car, the shop said that rotex said it was so bad that they were sending my SC back to the factory in Denmark, and that means I should get a new unit.
I wish they would send it. I just want my car fixed.

I hope your mom keeps her spirits and strength up.

Seeing parents get frail and pass away is tough. My mother died of complications of Alzheimer's when she was in her late 80s. My dad just died of old age in his mid 90s.

How to act? Just remember your grief will diminish over time and your father is in a better place now, with no pain.

Sounds like a bearing in your SC just ate itself.....

OK, nothing much going on here ....... so, I reckon I'll fire up my FR-S and head out to the smoke shop, meat market, pharmacy, gas station and the grocery store.

Seems like there was something else ...... I'll have to check my list ...... if I can find it .....??

Oh, I hope I don't get trapped parking, so that I have to back up .......

Who says ol pa-pa don't have fun .......
