1) Respect. By far the most important rule here. Basic rules of real life apply here - show each other respect and you will get respect as well. Don't bash someone else here because you feel like it. Disrespectful, derogatory or insulting attitudes or remarks will not be tolerated. This applies to all corners of the site - including posts, profile visitor messages, and thread tags.

3) Disagree, don't attack. Disagree on topics, but try to leave it at that. Just because you don't like someones opinion on the car's engine, doesn't mean you should call him and his mother all sorts of names. Debates are always welcome, but don't go out of your way to insult and flame someone. Please consider if you would say to someone's face the same thing you are posting.

Pretty sure this thread was meant to violate forum rules at this point.....

Girl you need to see an eye doctor
Looks like a Mclaren from the front - not is a Mclaren. I did not posit a comparison of performance.

Example:

As I'm certain you understand, the 86 emblem denotes both the engine bore and stroke, and as a callback to the AE86 that, in part, inspired the development of the car. While perhaps garish, it is fitting. Although I'm not a big fan of the very small, fin shaped plastic insert placed at the forward position of the fender insert.

Although, this detail is easily removed or replaced. Also, the 86 changes the detailing of that piece, not the shape. I can't hinge my critic of the car's design on what is a fractional piece of the whole.

Maybe I do need to see an eye doctor. But I outlined a design critique with supporting arguments to draw a conclusion that the 86 design is: "okay, but not great. Nothing matches. If you buy it in black or grey you are probably okay."

Maybe I needed to clarify the black or grey comment. So, as you may understand, darker colors absorb more light which tends to obscure specific detailing, leaving only the large shape that these details belong to be clearly visible. I never argued the shape was wrong.

I think this is a much more obvious comparison. Everytime I see one from a distance, I momentarily think: FR-S.

I don't think it is just because of OP. Look at the responses below. There is apparently some personal history about this conflict. I will not dig the forum to find out though. Oh BTW, all other cars suck, my FR-S is the only one that looks good.

I meant it in a general sense, but yeah.... when the redesign got announced there was a lot of controversy.

Loads of history but the OP is just fanning the flames in the name of "humour". His sig tells it all really.

I mean it's quite an obvious telegraph, yet people don't seem to understand the small simple things, which makes the thread volatile and peoples feelings start to get hurt . I am no scientist by any means, but I can probably sell you a lawnmower if you walked into a coffee shop looking to buy a phone.

Words aren't usually meant to make sense, words combined together to make sentences make sense though, and much of the words I put together in a sentence some how make sense, but maybe the people that read my words in a sentence don't think they make sense, when they do, you just have to read it properly and not try to correct me like some know it all(not u).
