He has that one too:
![]() He has overlays for the other buttons, if he makes a machine gun one I'm covering over the VSC button. I can pretend the traction button is an oil slick because I'm a child. I wish I had the track mode button on the above picture it's better than just the text. |

I picked up some wheels in trade for a bunch of custum headlight work for a customer.
Advan 18x7.5 5x100 +48 RGII's with tires. Although these are not my favorite style wheel, I will probably use them until I find someone that will trade me a 17" I want like an RPF1 -B |

Literally overnighted this from Japan (
):![]() There were a few options for ordering it, but I winded up going through Amazon.jp. They shipped it out midday Monday Tokyo time and it arrived just now, so something like +/- 36 hours shipping time total. Not bad. Going to install and try it out tonight! |

Lookin at that but they are out of stock through amazon.jp. How's the weight compared to stock? I don't like the other knob due to the weight of the others out there. |

I don't have a link to it but a few weeks ago found a post elsewhere on the forum where somebody weighed this one vs the stock knob and found it to be 70 grams heavier. Definitely felt heavier in the hand while both were unscrewed from the stick.I won't be able to give a great opinion on it till the weekend when I get to drive more (only drove a mile with it today to get gas ).

Getting some baseline numbers on a Mustang Dyno.
[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsevkF0EOts"]JDL Turbo Subaru BRZ baseline dyno - YouTube[/ame] ![]() 304whp / 255wtq on just the 9.4psi spring and E67 in the tank. Pretty much what I expected! This turbo isn't even trying. EBCS and more boost soon!

Parked it because the flasher relay that came with my Tom's tails failed... my left turn signal light gets stuck permanently on (like, stays illuminated even after I've turned the car completely off). Pulled the fuse to save my battery. Found out after work that if I cycle the electrics on and off a few times and then mash the hazards, I can re-set it, but if I use the left turn signal again it re-freezes.
Gonna try the Diode Dynamics relay unit and see if that lasts any longer. e: So, "while I was on there," I added an always-on harness for the hawkeyes / DRLs

As far as shift feel, I've driven the car a bit more over the past couple of days. I'd say there's some improvement in shift feel for sure. I think there were times when it took maybe a bit more effort with the older knob to complete a shift throw, but now it can be easier. I'll be honest and say it could very well be placebo to me just because I only know how the stock one feels and have no other reference points. On the other hand it definitely weighs a bit more than the original, so I'm sure that helps. |
