I get that ET40 wheels will be optimum to max camber in the front but compared to ET45 how much of a difference will it really make?

That probably depends on what the Spec tire ends up being. Some tires like more camber than others.

I mean if we are talking about .1 additional camber. It's probably not worth the effort or cost (ARP extended studs & spacers) at my level.

With all things equal, I got an extra -1.4 going from +45 to +40.

I really wasn't expecting the gain to be that high.

Yes, above -3 is easy with +40.

Hey Everyone,

We're a little late, but we have been trying to come up with a good wheel choice for this class, as some of you have requested.

Working with Enkei, we have come to the conclusion that the PF01 in 17x8 with a 45mm offset is perfect for this class. Without Valve stems and center caps, these wheels weigh almost exactly 17 lbs. Adding the valve stem and cap brings them to 17.1. They were weighed by Enkei on their certified scales, so we are confident that they are legal. They did only weigh the Black wheel, but they felt confident every color should be legal weight. They are 45mm offset instead of the minimum required 40mm for the class, which we are unfortunately stuck with as the 17x8 is not offered in 40mm.

Now the big question is the interest. These wheels are readily available in Black, but we were curious as to what you guys wanted before we were to organize pricing. We do have the option of having a group buy done in certain colors, such as our Matte Bronze or Gunmetal. If we were to do a custom order, the wheels would not be here until the spring.

I'd also love to talk with you about the Pro!

Sticking with DS for the tours / regional for 2018 though.

I've been doing a lot of thinking and I def think the PF01 is the wheel I'm gonna go with. I think a silver or Gunmetal is what I'd get.

ET45 make sense for those going for extended wheel studs and a 5mm spacer.

Nick for those of us who would rather use ET40 wheels, did you look into Konig or Rota wheels?

The Konig Ultraform in 17x8 ET40 do tick all right boxes and the 17x8 Rota Titans can be custom ordered in ET40 (ET45 make the weight not 100% sure about ET40)

Ultraforms seem like the best option OTB IMO, titans fit the bill too. I'll most likely be going with Ultraforms, unless these new wheels TR has promised at +40 and look better for a similar price. I believe Konig has some other flow form wheels being released with similar specs too, not sure of an ETA though.
