Just did my first drift event since I sold my S13 about 5 years ago. Had a blast and learned a little bit about this chassis!
The hardest part was definitely transitioning between drifts, the car kept snapping back and spinning out. Started to get the hang of it towards the end of the day, but it definitely feels snappy.

Anyone else suffer from bruises on the side of their knees? I'm wondering if upgrading to the jdm cushioned knee pads will be an interim step before going to a bucket seat.
Also, any recommendations for a jack? I'm not sure if there are full size alternatives but I'm looking for recommendations that have a small footprint but are obviously better than the stock scissor. |

No front sway will certainly make it easier with an NA/lower power car. Im debating putting mine back in as of late as my transitions feel lazy with the power and hoping it'll make it a bit snappier. Quote:
I was debating getting the knee pads myself regardless.

Just ordered knuckles + outer tie rods from pbm. Are they compatible with my Megan tie rods? Pbm can't confirm.

Megan tie rods are exactly the same as stock on the point where they connect to the outer tie rods, so they should. You're gonna have some binding without their tie rod offset-spacer tho

The PBM knuckles are compatible with Megan inner tie rods. Just get a proper alignment done. I run the same setup that you just got and its awesome! Obviously won't get you nearly as much angle as the complete kit, but it is Sooooo much better than stock. Steering is much quicker and more responsive. I don't have their offset rack spacers,(yet) and I don't have any binding issues at all. I do rub a little bit on the frame though. You're going to love them' |

Some shots from this past weekend. Most of the day the track was dry with some wet parts in some throttle areas. First time really having to deal with wet/dry transitions. Was interesting to say the least
Had my first contact too, my buddy had over rotated, figured hed get out of my way, when i realized he wasn't i shut down but i should have shut down sooner. No major damage, just a new cold air inlet
