The wife and I were considering the 2018 MX-5 Miata RF -> really cool and unique but with fewer air bags and more diminutive than the FR-S it makes me a little hesitant to commit to purchasing one. -Also, wife is strictly ATX.

I don't ever really see myself in a 2-seater only car. Limited on versatility , really not that practical day to day. Which is a good thing, since it eliminates all cars in that segment ... including some convertibles , MR-2, NSX, Cayman, S2K. I saw one on my ride today...it would be like riding a Farris wheel / rollar coaster / go cart ride .
