Yep, my addiction started when I was a small child. My grandfather smoked unfiltered Camels and when the adults would play cards, I would hang out at the corner of the card table where the ashtray and his burning cigarette was.

Why did I hang out there? Simply because they would set up the card table in front of the fireplace, which was the only warm place in the house

Well, I do have really large lungs ...... they have to do two X-rays on each side to fit them in.

I only wish some other body parts were as large ......

Don't mean to bring the room down, but I get to spend the day tomorrow with my mom as we sit by my dying father. He is really bad and my mom won't leave his side and is killing herself also. This is tough. Ok, back to the jokes.

My mom was widowed twice. After the second, she moved to a nice house around the corner from me to wait to die. It remains the most bittersweet, touching few years of both of our lives. We laughed and cried a great deal together.
