Well here is my video for the TMS road course autox. I'm still getting my settings for the AST 5200's I have on the car and working all night before didn't help anything. However watching others videos shows we what I was doing wrong so I have a good place to start next year hopefully.

AS of recent news from the ER Board. 1st place in STX for ER is still up for grabs. They are only counting the top 6 events and throwing away the results for the last event. SO it will be our best 6 events out of 9.

Official announcement from ER is posted: http://autocross.com/
"We have spent a couple of weeks examining the results of event #8 and discussing the issue with the software designer. We believe we have a solution to the problem and will set up a full R&D session in the future to fully troubleshoot the system before the next mirrorcross. During our investigation we realized that there is no way to have confidence in the times that were generated. It was obvious that there were suspicious random hero runs that got posted on both the left and right sides that were 5 or more seconds faster than that person’s fastest time. Once we got looking into the problem deeper we found that the other times that were not suspicious were actually not matching up with GPS and video data from cars that had logged that information. My times in particular showed 2-3 seconds off between the GPS/GoPro clock and the official captured time. We went back to the previous events and did not see this discrepancy. The board of directors has voted to remove event #8 from the points standings for the season. We have dropped our number of events from 10 to 9 as far as points are concerned towards a year end trophy. We have reduced the minimum number of events to qualify for a trophy from 6 to 5. We have reduced the points calculation from counting the best 7 finishes to only counting the best 6 finishes. We did, however, decide to allow participation in event #8 to count towards the minimum number of events. Rapide PAX championship points will also be changed in the same way as class points with a reduction in minimum levels required for a trophy. Allowing #8 to count for Rapide PAX helps those who need the extra 50 points awarded for multiple events. We will have an updated year end points totals. I appreciate your patience with this. We were completely blind sided by this technical glitch that has not happened at any other events and wasn’t apparent until the event was well under way." |

NTAXS was fun, I managed 2nd in class 1 and 3rd overall. I should be able to move into 3rd place for the season (they don't do any drops and I missed the first 2 events because they filled before I could register).

The day started out a little cool and rainy, but it turned out pretty nice. STX ran in the first session while the surface was cold, but we started to get some heat towards the end of the session. Brandon edged me out again for first (by 0.072s this time). The STX guys all finished in the money placing 6th, 7th, 17th, and 20th in PAX.
Brian Brooks won novice and locked in first for the season! My runs: |

With this past weekends ER event over the season points have been set. The last event will have no effect on points.
1st - Brandon 2nd - Sam 3rd - Me 4th - Miles Brandon has also secured 1st for the season for SCCA, however 2nd to 5th can still change depending on the last event.

ER was fun today, we had some great twin action. Brian (LetzROQ) won novice by over 1.5s (so fast that he got some shade for racing as a novice)! Here's my runs (camera died on my last run, I should have used one of my bigger batteries or just brought a second one). |

That was my last Novice race, so have to run with the big boys next season... in DS, not STX - that class is too stacked! May consider doing the Spec class, will think on it over the break, but don’t want to be the only one competing in it. If others jump in, I’ll probably go for it.
