Perhaps. Could have been a NA->T aka sr20de-t or a sr20det swap, or a non-federal (non-us spec) version.

Well, I’m Canadian, so there’s that, but I think I remember what my old debate was.
It wasn’t turbo or non turbo SR20. It was guys saying there were no FWD trannies that mates to the SR20.
