Society really has tried to castrate men, I don't know if you guys like country music but, the song I'm still a guy by Brad Paisley pretty much sums it up. Ft86God, I'm starting to get back, it's kind of funny I have a meet tomorrow to go to the track (woot woot), something that I haven't done in a while, so she calls me this morning... What are you doing tomorrow?

Going to the track, and meeting up with so and so after to tune his car.

She got quite and I had to get off the phone.

I am who I am, I just need to be the best me I can be (I know this is somebody's signature, but it is very true)

Life is too short, had some drama queens living here in the same city but I also met my wife here and life is good with no drama and she is extremely independent which allows me to live my life how I want with her in it rather than mine being compromised by her demands. If you feel like you can't be who you want to be in your marriage (short of a full time life being Charlie Sheen with hookers and blow), then you should move on. The fact she wasn't willing to end the "friendship" with the guy that was a partner in the cheating is a major red flag no matter how you look at it. I know a great divorce attorney, one of those rare ones that's a normal guy if things go that route. Good luck.

I don't think it will turn into "War of the Roses", but I will hit you up if it does.

Who are you by the way, PM me if you don't want it public, I know of all of two people that race shifter carts...

I'm loving this thread, lots of great relationship insight. Twas a good read.

Anyway, I was cheated on about a year ago, short term relationship but she meant a lot to me at the time. I decided she wasn't worth my time and completely stopped talking to her... couple of months later, the sad feeling goes away, you start feeling normal again, and at a certain point you completely forget and move on. Right now I'm having a blast hanging out with a complete sweetheart, and I realize although it's harder to start over, the honeymoon period makes it completely worth it. I see the experience of being cheated on as something you learn from; so it's not ALL bad. Women have a tendency of being erratic at times with their sexuality; number one thing to remember is that they should be apprehended for their actions. Don't give her a second chance unless she really works hard for it; don't feel bad for yourself; and start hanging out with single girls(the best part lol)!

I think what my issue was/is that I wanted to make it work. The way I grew up, and was taught was that you never gave up, on anything. The hard part is that I was still committed, and she isn't, but like I commented earlier, this is a lesson I had to learn (controlling) to better myself. I'm at peace with what she is doing, and I have forgiven her. I will not however trust her, probably ever again. With you guys help I believe that I have found the error in my ways, and I need to stop beating the dead horse, bury it, and move forward...

So do any of you guys have single sisters??? LMAO

According to everybody here I have to lock myself in my house and listen to "I'm sexy and I know it" for 10 hours

Go do other things. Usually when you TRY to get a girl, things don't always work out so well. Usually the best ones are found when not trying to find a girl and just living your life and not staying at home being sad making things worse. You story is basically the same as my first wife 15 years ago. Took my 10 years later before I met some I was willing to marry but I dated in the meantime and had good and bad relationships and learned from all of them, which was good since it was mostly me doing stuff wrong by trying to please too much and allowing myself to dump too much of what I wanted to do/enjoy to appease someone else.

So I went baller status up to a girl I was interested in, she agreed to go with me to a mutual friends party, I was like cool, so after I go to the track, which was automotive nirvana BTW, we were supposed to meet up, and she brings another guy, so I was thinking like WTF? But trying to be nice, it was a really messed up night, I think I need to make my Evo as fast as possible right now and forget about women.

I was the fastest car at the track today (not that there was anything except a Porsche cup car that mattered, and the driving wad a complete noob, so I don't think that counts) I was in the Evo for clarification. So yeah that was awesome! The track steward even approached me, complemented me on my driving and told me to call him for open track practice when I want it. Tom, it was Jimmy if you are wondering.

Seriously????

So the women that I mentioned above agreed to go with me on a date, I was tuning one of her friends car, and he says "so and so" is going to love how you tuned the Evo(her car) and I was like why would he care, and who is he. Then he said well it is his car, they are married...WTF?

I'm convinced this is not my year

I guess that I should be happy I have other things going on right now.
