Yep, when I was a kid, me and my cousins would collect around the big pot bellied stove and our grandpa would tell us all about when he could dodge bullets back in the coal mines of West Virginia and that there wasn't a man he couldn't whip .....

My other grandfather would take me to farm sales and he and his old farmer cronies would sit around under maple trees or in barns and I would listen for hours to stories. Then he would buy me a bushel basket full of interesting junk that I would spend hours taking things apart and trying to figure out what they were ..... remember there wasn't any TV or internet .......
