No harm no foul, sir. Tonight I went down the youtube rabbit hole and ended up watching way too many helicopter crashes. Then checked back here.

All a matter of perspective.

Hey you started it!
I would never have said a word about it if you hadn't.

Not like I came here and started saying how often Ultra missed a turn because we didn't shut up long enough to pay attention to the GPS. We managed to make the same wrong turn twice in 30 seconds at one point. It is amazing we actually managed to get anyplace at all.

Oops... I guess I have now.

We got lost in a parking lot for crying out loud!

Well thanks to you it looks like our next trip is to Reno. She has already been checking prices.
Mind you I think she is also plotting with Mrs. Ultra on how they are going to come here to visit so I doubt I will have a hard time convincing her to go back there sometime. When she calculated trip expenses against winnings (hers not mine) there was about a $200 profit so it is certainly cheap enough to do again.

Maybe the place is nice but I really dislike the airline! The canned "jokes" the flight crew use over and over get old fast. Got sick of hearing "If you are connecting with us at XXXXX then the gate will be nearby and you have loads of time but if you are connecting with another airline then we don't care" or "Did anybody drop their wallet while boarding? Now that I have your attention please listen to these important safety announcements" real fast.

YES! That is exactly how they come across. Be OK if it was spontaneous but it is all so forced and rehearsed. They probably hate saying it as much as I hated hearing it though.

As someone who flies regularly for work, I'm ready to cause a scene that would have Delta's security foaming at the mouth every time a flight attendant asks me to remove my earphones to listen to the same safety briefing I've heard at least 10 times per year for the past 3 years.

Oh I get that one. It is policy, procedure and a legal requirement so they have no chance but to ask you. They have no clue (and don't care) how many times you may have heard it before. The difference is that most airlines do it in an efficient and professional manner and don't try to turn it into a scripted, prolonged, stand up comedy routine.

*sigh* Story of my life. Going around the same block twice was the one where I cringed. Seeing @Bird87 come running to take advantage of the moment was just perfect.

Yup. When the bosses get together, it's a done deal.
