Yes, oxygen and UV are constantly making your tires worse. I would always buy a set of fresh RR’s back when I raced 944 Spec regardless of the # of cycles or tread depth of the tires I had stored over the winter. They would be a second slower despite being stored indoors, in sealed bags.

Yeah, there are plenty of ways for me to get wrecked if I venture outside of Chicago Region, lol. I'll actually need a properly-prepped car to be competitive in other locations (and some more driver mod.)
