I want a set and I don't even have a 2017 with the spoiler, that's how good it looks.

I do have to wonder though if this makes any potential negative impact on aerodynamics, based on the original engineering that went into the spoiler and the OEM mounts.

I'm not sure about the aero. Typically up and back is the sign for better aero, but i haven't wind tunnel tested it lol

Yeah I mean it's really impossible to know for sure. I like that you did some rigidity tests though like observing the flex/movement of the spoiler under various scenarios like trunk closing and driving.

I had to! It's a potential hazard. The first prototype both the internal and external pieces split in half slamming the trunk. The next prototype didnt break but was super wobbly when driving.The final piece is solid as a rock when driving, even in big bumps!

There is very slight wobble when slamming the trunk from the trunk, little to none when slamming the trunk from the spoiler but I also noticed that the trunk actually shakes when I slam the spoiler so I think it could be a combination of both. However, I've slammed the thing a hundred times, drove around and into very bumpy potholes (the things I do for you guys!) and disassembled and the pieces are in perfect shape. No splintering or cracks or anything!

Nice. I'm sure most of us are super gentle with the trunk anyway, I hate slamming mine for any reason.

I'm just thinking....maybe a little outside the box here.... but you could maybe tap in to a different market by basically making an adapter for the older model trunk holes to the newer model spoiler.

I don't think it would take too much work to change the attachment holes....

I agree with the your name ruining the overall look. Maybe put it on the inside of the risers? As small a footprint if you must have a logo on there.

I felt the same way at first, but now seeing it in action, I think it's cool. And it's right below the spoiler - I doubt you can even see it in normal view of the car. @tehShirt just happened to take a shot from down low that showcases it.

"shouts aftermarket" is a dramatic overstatement in my opinion. And guess what? It is aftermarket...
