Reading how the seat belt cuts into ones neck makes me want to do a thorough test drive of the car before I consider it... one of the most annoying things of the mustang I used to have was that... and one of the many reasons I got rid of it...

I've been using the A/C almost constantly since I got the car and one thing that annoys me (I don't really 'hate' it) is that the 1st fan blower speed is too low and the 2nd blower speed is many times, too much. I wish that the 1st blower speed was about 50% faster.

Hmm, the manual shift mode on my IS is on the same side, but then again isn't the automatic somehow related to it? I can't really imagine the manual mode being on the right side.

I believe that what he meant about backwards was that you push to upshift instead of pulling... Its very annoying since its an issue I always encpunter when I have to drive my mothers lexus... Its the opposite of my bimmer and 99% of a cars and video games too...

Can they fix this with a software update? (Maybe I'm expecting too much from cars these days.)

Some minor quibbles

Cupholder has to be set way too far back if you have something plugged into the lighter jack.

The second lighter jack is buried in the back of the glove box. ???

The UI on the stereo changes when you're moving so even if you have a passenger, you can't access things like the bluetooth menus.

The rubbery vinyl that covers the dash won't let anything adhere to it. I've been trying in vain to get a cable holder to stick so I can keep my GPS cable from dropping behind the steering wheel.

$70ea red stitched center console panels. Thinking of making this purchase as well. That plastic panel kills.

Biggest dissatisfier has quickly become the internal rattles. I did not expect them so early in the car's life. I have no idea where they're coming from or how I might diagnose or address them.

Yeah I agree - it's pretty pathetic that my brand new car rattles more at ~1,500 miles than my 2003 Camry did with 150K miles.

I like cars with arm rests, so i can keep my arm on something while i shift. My FR-S doesn't have an arm rest and the small exhaust tips.

The BRZ is definitely a nicer car in the USA (the Scion has like no options, though the 86 in Japan does offer options).

I just don't care for the black bumper on the BRZ. However if I was a more patient man, I would have just got a BRZ Limited and tossed an FR-S front bumper on the thing. Would have been a major hassel, but dang it would have been awesome
