You must have found a great deal. The first few that pop up are between 400 and 500 bucks. (Each?) *edit* racinglab has them cheap. (Although I know nothing about that site.) |

Maybe you are looking at the cost of a set? (Edit, I think you are)
Isn't this one on amazon for a set of 4 @ $695? (And wheeldude sells a set for $700 as well) https://www.amazon.com/TITAN-WHEELS-.../dp/B00WY7C9SS http://www.wheeldude.com/catalog/pro...a96d18b9510747 Even the Rota Canada site shows them at $275 Canadian per wheel (https://www.rotawheels.ca/cart/Product_View.php?id=44) for a larger wheel |

I saw earlier in the thread that the stock midpipe weight 12.4 lbs. Is that confirmed and does anyone have a photo/proof or do I need to pull mine off and weigh it? According to the nameless website, the muffled track pipe weights 6lbs (https://shop.namelessperformance.com...-pipe-brz-frs/). Therefore the stock midpipe + muffled track pipe comes in right at 18.4 lbs. PS, if you're ordering anything from Nameless, be aware that they typically do not carry any inventory, and they take forever (6+ weeks) to build and ship stuff. PS#2: That little muffler doesn't do much to quiet it down. Still very loud and drones on the highway.

I'd get the TC105N if I could, but sadly they weigh too little. Which is even sadder that I'd have to buy the knockoff version of an already great quality and low weight wheel, which happens to be surprisingly affordable, to meet the class weight restriction...

Not really. There's essentially no power to be gained in the catback on these cars. It's pretty much just a weight, sound, and aesthetics decision.

One of the reviewers on the website said it blew over 92 db (over their autox venue requirements). We cap it at 93 db locally, so I wonder how much over it goes.

Regarding sound...I haven't gone over our sound limit, but the lowest site limit we have is 95 db. I think when I've looked at our sound audit sheets in the past, I think I'm usually around 88? Lots of factors come into play when measuring sound, but I've yet to have a concern. We just had an event yesterday, and I can post back if I see the audit sheets.

I have the Nameless muffled axle back with stock mid pipe and at Nationals my car registered 79-80dB. Never had an issue at any event for sound ever. It’s among the quieter cars at an autocross. Certainly quieter than any prepped STX car.

Wonder if we can get a good group buy option on some SSC wheels over the winter. Maybe even a custom job to deliver a 40mm offset so we can avoid spacers. Any one have a good vendor recommendation to poke about this?
