That's exactly what I do... installs lol You know your stuff...although we have dedicated sheet metal guys in my shop... I just love making things so I wanted to pick it up.

I'm guessing you are an A&P mechanic?

A&P IA for about 30 years now. Although all I do now is manage the Facility. I do miss fixing aircraft. A lot easier than fixing People!

Started repair of hidden crash damage
I dunno how to post pics here yet so... removed front bumper and ordered parts. Re-installed front bumper for now. Silly I missed this damage when I bought the car but somebody has to lover her....
Ordered ac condensor, radiator, lower radiator support driver headlight surround clip thing, new bumper clips, new lower tray for grill area, and about a million clips. Also ordered a new factory skid plate for motor, front turn signal harness whip, and for fun ordered some Winjet fogs. scheduled welding buddy and began researching replacing lower radiator support..... nothing more expensive than a good deal I guess

Met with a local fellow owner to hear in person how loud the Corsa is with an aftermarket header and front pipe. And I am pleased to say, it's not as loud as I thought, and I could definitely live with it.

I mounted the rain-visors made by HIC. And I like them
I got also the full set of rubber mats, fit like a glove, nice.
And some days ago I connected a DAB adapter for the original T&G, the PURE Highway 400. No cables around and the sound quality is great

Last week I got my front fender and bumper repainted. Cost me $550, it had some rust on it. I checked 3 body shops before I settled on the one where my friend works at (got a F&F discount). They all told me the fender had to be fully repainted after they got rid of the rust. They also repainted the part of the bumper where I had a dent for free (my friend asked them if they could do that while they were working on it, thanks buddy!) IMO the price was right. The paint matches (pearl white) and my car is 3 years old and is always sunbathing.

I had some bubbled paint on my passenger front fender as well as a dent on the front bumper. Happened when my mechanic removed my front bumper with a FLAT HEAD SCREWDRIVER. I paid cash and didn't notice the damage when he handed me the keys. It was pouring like hell, but I should have walked around the car. Lesson learned.

For my FRS I installed a Nardi steering wheel, but here's the best part drove 366 Miles for it. Don't believe me? Watch my YouTube video.

Do you remember what bulbs go in the license plate area of the top of your head? I need LEDs to match my Intec tails. 😎

Went to wash my car at a carwash... randomly picked a bay and drove in without even seeing the car next to me. Turns out it was a 2013 Firestorm Red FRS just like mine, so of course I talked to the guy for like 20 minutes just about our cars and each others mods.

So cool how these cars can introduce you to new people, I've never had a car that instantly established a connection to other drivers like this haha.
