Have you gone through the process of logging and getting revisions like you were supposed to?
FYI, a EL (like stock) will always feel smoother than a UEL (your aftermarket header). UEL's rumble/vibrate, which resonate through the chassis. Additionally, a quieter car will ALWAYS feel faster, because you can step on the accelerator more without "hearing" as much acceleration, but feel more. |

Thought I had a bypass valve issue but after performing the test of squeezing the vacuum line connecting the valve at idle I didn't notice a change or hiss... I just recently swapped over to the UEL and throttle tip in seemed slightly more abrupt than when I had my stock manifold, although the car does feel like it has more torque so I was wondering if it's just the additional power. Throttle modulation (as long as you're starting from a throttle position other than 0%) is smooth. Car had additional logs/tune revisions put in place after the UEL install. Am about to go e85 and have a new tune to go with it, I'll report back after that's been installed. |

On my car, I noticed the UEL rumble (which is awesome), but throttle tip it feels like the car lunges forward abruptly. Kind of reminds me of my sportbike when you roll into the throttle in a lower gear, it kind of jumps on you right when the throttle plate begins to open, even with incredibly smooth throttle input. I've gotten used to it, but it is noticeable. I kind of thought it might have to do with the bypass valve closing and the boost engaging, but that's just another theory... |

I agree with that. That slight supercharger whine combined with the sheer force of acceleration that I feel on my neck is so awesome. It feels unreal like a spaceship.
