Not sure how I feel about F1 moving to ESPN next season. Some folks apparently don't like the NBCSN/CNBC coverage, but I haven't had a problem with it. Hoping we aren't subjected to ESPN's penchant to politicize eveything. Notice, though, that ABC will re-air Monaco after the Indy 500. That's cool.

Just like when they switched to NBC I'm super worried.
Mainly because I watch the races live, and if ESPN preempts I'm gonna be pissed.

Also need to keep current announcers.
Because clag....

The amount of commercials on nbc is ridiculous, Sky’s way of doing broadcast is so much better.

damn, I was hoping that we'd hit a point where Liberty Media would say "fuck it, we're streaming it live, deal with it old media" but with Disney/Hearst owning the broadcasting rights that ain't happening until they figure out how to maximize profit on their IP online.

But then again ESPN does offer a stream of their content... might be a way to get into that without too much hassle... but that's a next year problem.
Sling and Youtube TV might enter the house at that point... but who the hell has time to watch a full race? I'll probably just stick to the Youtube highlights.

I would pay decent money for a subscription to a high quality f1 stream.

Fingers crossed the don't screw up the announcers. Personally I liked BBC when they did it, say what you want about Eddie Jordan but he was an entertaining commentator alongside David Coulthard who had an idea of what they were talking about, I can't name any of the wet dishrags that Sky employs.

Will Buxton is solid though, whatever he's doing nowadays.

Very true re: the commercials. I usually watch the races via Playstation Vue who DVRs them for me. Depending on what time they air here in Texas, I frequently watch them pre-recorded and fast forward through the commercials.

Damn! Max got robbed by the Ferrari Insurance Agency! He beat Kimi. The only reason they gave Kimi 3rd is because he gave up 2nd to Vettel.
