Best place to do some spirited driving nearest to SJ? I'm getting new tires soon and I want a good baseline between OEM vs Aftermarket.

Roads please, no rocks/gravel!

Skyline and La Honda are the only ones without a ton of rocks and crap

Palomares is bumpier even in the DD (so is Norris, so is Calaveras). We must be getting old @PMok lol

Sorry, I unplugged myself yesterday from everything

It's was a relaxed drive, barely touched the brakes up and back. Went with a buddy and it was his first time so I took it slow. Almost no one on the way up but quite a few on the way back. I think there was a cycling event.

Sweet. Good for you for introducing someone new to Mines!

I was late starting mine today because all of the on ramps to 880S were closed around me, so I had to go way out of my way and get on at a different on ramp in Oakland. Didn't even get onto the freeway until 8:05am.

Road was clear going down, but spotted like 4 or 5 different groups of deer. Lots of deer out all the sudden.

I've noticed more wildlife out there in general, so everyone should keep their eyes out a little more then usual and take extra care in the blind/tight sections

There's also large black tarantulas crossing the road. I tried to run them over but I don't know if I got em!

Alice's Restaurant in Woodside is right at the intersection of the two. I prefer to come in from the north side of Skyline as sometime the southern parts can be a bit messed up. Then run La Honda out to the coast
