Getting A/C to work

Im in the planning phase on doing a built 2jzge / 72mm turbo / cd009 trans with 8.8 rear end.

Has anyone gotten a/c to work? I will be running a haltech elite 2500 and was wondering if its possible. I know a simple way would be to wire the a/c request from eh factory button to the haltech and have the haltech output the signal to turn the compressor on but I'm guessing its more complex than that? The system would have to turn itself on/off and activate the fans from the condenser wouldn't it? And something tells me this is all controlled via can

I took a closer look at the wiring diagram from a BRZ and it looks like the only two wires from the factory ecu are going to the clutch and the pressure switch after that the connection goes to the a/c amplifier.

anyone have input on this?

Sorry, not very helpful, but I have AC working with Motec. In the Motec 86 harness wiring diagram, I do see only two connections related to AC: http://www.motec.com/filedownload.ph...pdf?docid=4504

Thanks! I never thought of looking at an ecu with a wiring loom already made for this car. It looks like the first one is a switched input that would be the a/c request from you pressing the button... and the second says A/C heater relay and that would be going to the negative side of the relay so that the ecu could switch it to ground and turn the compressor clutch on.

Im still trying to find information on this pressure switch and what it does

As far as I've learned, asked around, talked to shops that have done swaps, there is some CAN communication needed to make the AC work.

it looks like ac request is going through CAN but everything else is wired from the ecu.
