How shitty are your driving habits that you have the TC kicking in on a regular enough basis to need to turn it off. Not to mention, at least in the province I live, the kind of driving that would make them kick on, is quite a heavy fine, immediate license suspension and vehicle impound.

And again, public streets and y'all are getting annoyed at the nannies? Think a lot of you need to grow up.
Came here to say this.

canada is a police state that looks like a vacation spot.

It kicks in a few times per week while I drive in New York. Track mode is working well with the OEM tires. Some people use the limits of their engine, performance brakes, and sportcar's suspension to avoid the accidents, reduce traffic jam vegetating time by 10-20% or better.

Agreed, In NJ you don't have to be driving bad for the Nannies to kick in, debris, dirt, uneven slick roads even turning a corner here can cause a nannie to kick in if just slightly. They kick on and you wont even feel it.

I found this one amusing.

In standard commute traffic you have zero chance of reducing vegetation time by 10-20% (Unless you have a helicopter). Especially in New York where everyone thinks they are Michael Schumacher and Jacki Stewarts gene spliced clone.

Actually I had mine kick in every time I took the offramp at the normal speeds of the exit towards my work.

The reason? My "track" alignment, which essentially was zero toe and very aggressive camber (-3.5 front -2.75 rear). Tires were square 245 all around.

Sometimes it takes very little for VSC to kick in. In my case, it tried to overbrake the rear end of my car, and makes it that much more fun to steer the car...

I also forgot to mention that if you have an aggressively set up mechanical rear diff, you'd also get VSC kicking in on sharp ramps/curves because it thinks you have wheelspin, which you almost would.

That's the same set up I have, and rarely, if ever have that issue unless I'm driving in a way I shouldn't.
