Idiot didn't realize I was crossing the street to my car when he left in a hurry. He got a visit from the fine officers of the local PD.

In case you don't know, you can try removing the panel and pouring near-boiling hot water over the inside to soften, then push the blemish out. Be persistent and good luck.

He didn't need it in this case, but it's indeed cheap insurance just in case you don't happen to be walking out to the car next time.

Or in the case of a recent other member's post, might catch some miscreant in a backwater town in Arkansas shoving a garden hose into your exhaust and turning it on for who knows how long.

I've been working on a cover fo my A/C compressor ... check out the progress I made today. I will be doing the same for the alternator.

I still have adjustments to make... this is my first version based off my original template.

I'm using .050" aluminum.

I'm thinking of having these covers painted Beatrush gold to break up the surrounding polished parts... not 100 percent on that though...

Gotta start my bend earlier here...

For the alternator I'd suggest slotted vents, the voltage regulator doesn't like excessive heat build up.
