Might need a non-stock rear-view mirror.. Noticed the last few times I drove at night that I need a mirror that can dim. So many assholes drive with their high beams on and it's so blinding.

Couple nights ago I was driving and it wasn't even dark out yet and someone had their brights on. Couldn't look at any of my mirrors without hurting my eyes.

Any suggestions?

BRZs dont have the autodim anymore? Or they never did?

It's an optional add-on, if I remember correctly. But it's also more expensive because it includes the garage opener control, I think, which I don't need.

It's part of the limited trim but maybe they changed it with the MY17?

wat

the mirror can dim, you push the little plastic bit sticking out the bottom, it's been that way for like 40 years, I thought it was required.

Also you'll be surprised, some of the most blinding headlights these days are OEM units on regular lo-beams but the race for brightness says 'fuck you driver who isn't in a high up vehicle'

That's why I specifically bought an FR-S without HID/LED/bullshit.

If you don't have the auto dim headlight, you can pull the tab on the bottom. Just remember to put it back after otherwise during the day it's all wonky.

This is likely the culprit. SUVs with HIDs are the worst.

Lifted trucks with (cheap 10000k) HIDs in headlights AND fog lights. Light scatters everywhere but the road.
