Today seems to be a slow forum day.

Well, I took two of my older granddaughters (ages 8 & 10) to Krav Maga training last night.

There mother (our daughter) took karate training for two years in HS. So, she thought the Krav Maga training would be good for them.

I'm ah feared is all that it is doing is training them to be more effective at punching on each other when they get into a tiff ........

You know that an employee has used their work email to sign up for way too many things when they get over 150 emails delivered per day that are blatant spam.

And that's just what makes it past the filters, which turn away about 98% of email delivered to the company.

So the link bypasses user authentication, enabling anyone with the link to edit the content?
If that's by design, it's incredibly stupid. If it's a bug, it's still incredibly stupid.

It's by design. It's only like that if you don't login/register an account.
It states fairly obviously to not give anyone that link.

Very interesting. I'm in Europe and have never used craigslist, so I'm in the dark here. But if that link is provided by email, and necessary as a step in posting, it's actually still a registered account as in not anonymous. The login credentials are just embedded into the url, for convenience. Which is a Bad Idea.

Ease of user always compromises security it seems. But people are too lazy to log in or remeber different passwords

I HATE when they make change your password every 6 months and you cant use the last 14... I just do the recovery email everytime I login
