Ghostcrawler was a lead developer for the game World of Warcraft back in the day. He would make really bad balancing decisions and decided to make everything so bad and weak, but at the same time virtually the same, just every class (ex. mage, rogue, warrior, etc) had a different method of getting to the end result they desired (doing damage).

Then Riot, which is Riot games is the company behind League of Legends, a game I still currently play. They also had a trend of nerfing characters into oblivion making them unplayable and ironically they also hired ghostcrawler a few years back.

Happy with my new exhaust on the way home at night, I took off at a green light full throttle just to hear the thing roar! Vrrrrroooooooo!! But still just barely over the speed limit (50).

Didn't really pay attention to who was beside me at the light, but the cars from the light now behind me EXCEPT! Lo and behold a friggin' 370z with a fresh dealership license plate right
beside me lol passed me by a few feet too! Was funny as hell. Slowed down to speed limit and just cruised until he turned off to the left.

Wasn't trying to race, I just wanted to hear my exhaust! I swear. :P

So there's this online game called World of War Craft, or "WoW" for short. I've never played it, but I know from other games a "buff" is basically an improvement in something.

"Riot" is a game company that made League of Legends, another popular online game, or "LoL" for short. A "nerf" is basically opposite of a "buff", a decrease in effectiveness.

That said, I think what he's trying to say is if the world of cars/performance/tuning was like how things are in "WoW" then everyone would be complaining that everyone else have things that are better than what they have. And if it was more like League of Legends, where all performance gains would be inefficient and pointless, with everyone having the exact same setups, and leaving them only able to complain about other individual drivers directly instead of the setups, since everything is crap/cheap anyway.

A bit of a stretch in trying to decipher that, but yeah...

Not really a come race me bro thing, if anyone was the aggressor it was probably me.

There was a 2010 SS camaro hauling ass on the streets on the way to the university that I go to. And I just got my tune finished(JDL GTX2867R 10.5PSI) , this SS Camaro was not stock, he said he had headers and an intake. He also had those louvers or whatever its called on his rear windshield.

He was taking off hard af, and he flew by me, so then I went behind him at the next stop light and gave him a bit of space. The light turned green and I caught up to him quick af, but gave him enough space so I didn't rear end him, he saw how fast I was catching up to him and he switched lanes and rolled down his windows and we both looked at each other like "WASSUP MAN!!!!"

We met at the next stoplight and he asked me what I did to my car and I asked him what he did to his car, and long story short we met up on campus and parked near each other.


And that is how we met and became friends.......

I'm from LA....before the twins use to get harassed a lot but now the muscle and import guys know it's pretty slow lol car.

I've had one guy try to race me in my FRS and that was like a 2012 civic si.

driving to work one day I got to play a charger with 392 badge on it
(whatever that is)
he got beside me and matched my speed then smashed the gas when i didn't take the bait..
HE WAS GONE!! like a bat outta HELL!! (like half a football field gone)
I didn't chase him cause I figured the show was over, and my light modded stock 2.0 couldn't even try against that monster.... in a straight line.

Well further down the road. I pass him leisurely.

This guy, looked at me, and I could smell the stink eye.

he gets behind me on this curvy road I know tooo well
I DRIVE IT ERRYDAYYYYY!(my playground)
I catch every horny driver here. few have the handling.
I decided to see what it had //low traffic//GOOD turns.. up ahead
The best part was in 2nd gear the true turns came..
He kept up pretty well with me until then..
braking/wrestling that heavy ass car on a low speed curve..scary
He probably shit in his pants!!
I wasn't even at 7/10ths and I lost him.
Moral of the story
Every steel horse is bred for a purpose.

A silver 15-17 WRX tried to drag race me at a red light last night like an asshole. This guy pulled up beside me, didn't try to instigate a race or anything like that, but then as the green hit, peeled out with a bunch of tire squeal.. This is like the 4th time in 2 small months that people have tried to drag race me lol.

I don't know if it's my rear light silhouette that triggers people or what, 17 86 is so sexy.

A slammed late 90s Civic hatch with a fart can tried to race me from a stoplight. I told him I was turning right at the next light to get onto the highway and he said OK. Light turned green, I accelerated normally and I just hear him stall. I turned right and merged onto the tollway and move into the left lane and I hear his fart can come up behind me, pull onto the left shoulder to pass me (on an empty toll road), and then take the next exit to get off the tollway.
