Really hope this isn't the case, but we will see.

I have it on very good authority that a ruling on making catbacks illegal has not even come up for discussion. I wouldn't worry about that too much.

Yea not trying to start some trolling, but it's been presented to me by a SEB member that the whole "street prep levels will apply" may not be the case.

My contact is also a SEB member and completely denies that.
At this point, I'm doing nothing until some rules are published.

Would've been nice if they'd flushed this all out a bit better before announcing, but as I understand it SEB wasn't even fully aware of the details (lacking as they are) until the Town Hall too.
I just think restricting the catback is silly. The lightest exhaust is ~$100 muffler delete. So there's no cost barrier, no secret sauce $3,000 option that will make people with deep pockets faster. Plus, these cars are super quiet stock, and I like to be able to hear VROOM VROOM noises and where I'm at within the RPM range.

It probably doesn't matter - Doug will route them to the right people.

Odd. Just ordered the SSC parts from TR, except the Konis (out of stock), and I wasn't asked for my SCCA membership #.
