Do you know if the Full Race Front mount and piping kit would line up with the Fullblown kit if I were to just clock the turbo? I like the piping placement.

Sorry, I missed this. I have no idea and I highly doubt it honestly. The hot-pipe would likely need some work, the cold-pipe should work fine though.

I sent my oil in a few weeks back for testing since I run our AOS in drain-back with E85 (now E53) and have been asked multiple times if there are negatives to running it in drain back. According to Black-Stone, everything looks good.

Oil Used: Amsoil 0w-30
Oil Cooler Used: OEM Forester
Life of Oil: This was the oil I put into the car when I put the turbo kit on, so it has been in the car for about 12 months straight and 7000 miles.
-Primarily it has ran ethanol, with a few half tanks of 91 octane.
-20-30 dyno pulls at north of 300whp.
-Half-mile racing event where it went 137MPH a dozen times.
-Typically ran at 10PSI which puts me at low 300whp.
-AOS hooked up the whole time, with auto-drain back kit installed as well.

Pretty happy with the results, I see no reason to be worried about running ethanol and the drain back valve with an AOS setup.

Thanks,
Eric

New product installed, very happy with the build quality, feel, and overall look. It brightens the interior up considerably.

So happy with it, we ordered another for the Miata. Thank you Raceseng/Jarrett.

Eric

It's been far too long since I last posted in this thread. A lot has happened, we have released numerous new products, and we have a lot more in development .

So let's get the bad news out of the way. We are being forced to change our name due to a trade name dispute with a very large company. To keep it short and sweet, while we could have fought them and had grounds for a legal battle, we decided our money and time were better spent on R&D and stocking product vs. keeping a name. So with a heavy heart, Velox will no longer be our name, but Verus Engineering will. We are already trademarking our new name, which should go through without an issue.

For more information on this: https://www.verus-engineering.com/si.../A-New-Chapter

We are now located in Indianapolis, Indiana as well. We moved into a decent sized shop located near the airport. I'll work on grabbing some photos here shortly along with our new product releases and developments.

Since I have the photos readily available, we are testing out carbon synchros (thread) on our billet gearset (now in beta testing for anyone interested in testing these out).

Thanks,
Eric

After a few weeks with these in the car, I'm ready to give a review which I did on the blog post linked HERE.

The synchros have made a positive impact on shifting both cold and hot!

Thanks,
Eric

Was it Velox the insurance company? Or maybe Velox the materials company? Or maybe it was Velox the London airport transportation service provider?

It was the Velox that registered trademark after Eric's Velox (and probably after all of those companies too), but chose to go after the small start up (who had been using the name longer) probably because the startup was an easy target.

That's ok Velox was the past and Verus is the future! You can use that one, my permission. Now I need durable high temp Verus decals to cover all my Velox logo'd parts. ;D

It was the wheel company that supplies Costco with Chinese wheels. It is what it is, we're moving on a bit wiser and we really like the new name. It honestly has not been THAT bad, just a TON of extra busy work that doesn't really allow us to do the things we'd rather be doing.

Wing first article with 3D printed mounting installed below! Exciting!

Thanks,
Eric

So no worries that Verus Investments, or Verus phone case maker, or Verus healthcare, or Verus pet food, or Verus consulting will go after you guys? Probably not.

Guess who won't be buying cheapo wheels from Costco?

That's ok, in a few months the "new" Velox will have to deal with Kirkland brand wheels, same design, same factory but for 20% less money.

The wing looks great! Any interest in developing a WRX/STI wing?
