Wondering though, if scavenging changes enough to need different tune vs uncoated header .. |

pv=nrt so if you remove the constants, pressure is directly proportional to temp. more pressure, faster evacuation and thus better scavenging.

Ace Type B 150 would yield more top end hp in exchange for low/mid torque, correct?

Do you really need it? No. Does it make a difference? Yes. I personally opted to go for the dual ceramic coating to maximize gains. Mine should be arriving and installed soon. I’ll be able to share more feedback then. I’d encourage you to email counterspace garage so they can elaborate more on it for you.

Of course not. If you look at Mike's build, most the car remains stock. You could think that means the other hard parts in CSG's Anniversary NA Power Pkg aren't necessary. Well, they aren't, but they are desirable. And you get a 15% discount and the Delicious Tune at no charge so that's what I did, with no coating.
I can't speak for him, but it seems like he made a calculation based on budget or possibly testing to see what you can get out of a coated ("perfect") header & FF tune only. My system hasn't arrived yet, but my calculation in buying the package was to give Delicious all the important parts to work with on my tune. I also want more noise I'll never turbo or supercharge my car, but I may have gone with full coating if my plans were to eventually introduce all the FI heat under the hood. Plus, our engines are only 4 cyl. and the header design is way low. I don't think I'll miss a couple HP from not being coated. |

The catback wasn't put on my car because... it's designed to keep the car quiet with a presence, but like every other catback, doesn't provide gains. No need to spend money when I'm on a limited budget like everyone else; I'd rather put it toward ceramic on the header. |

Impressive numbers! However I have a couple of questions. Correct me if my math is incorrect.
https://www.delicioustuning.com/Stoc..._Breaks_200whp Stock 200hp crank BRZ making 201hp at the wheels on E85. I know you are on E70 but E85 should not be much different on a NA engine. Yours stock was 205hp at the crank. With interpretation stock 2017 should be 206hp at the wheels on E85. This means the header added 1.5HP. I would expect the 2017 to do better than that with a header and on E85? I need to dyno mine to see what the Delicious E85 tune has done! Could the stock 2017 header be almost as good as the aftermarket headers? Are we hittting the engine efficiency wall? |
