FYI - some of us will be playing at Red Star tomorrow (Fri 21st).

It's likely to be very quiet on track, so ideal conditions for beginners.

Playing at Red Star with friends from KZN on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Considering how badly I misbehaved on Tuesday night, I might not be invited next time...

This was my fastest lap, and a new personal best of 2m16.146, albeit only 0.577 sec quicker than my previous PB - I'll take it

I did 6 sessions on Tuesday and 4 sessions on Wednesday, and my little orange baby is going like a dream.

She's now been supercharged almost 4 years, and done 42 track days

I'm blessed to have another fun car (BMW Z4) which also does "daily" duty.
But my first choice is normally the 86, unless I want to enjoy some "top-down" Z4 sunshine.

Red Star is open on Sunday for cars and bikes, and I'll be there testing some new camber settings.

I think it's R800 for the full day which is a bit pricey, but worth it because getting onto Red Star over a weekend isn't easy and doesn't happen often.

See you there!!

BTW, most open track days on American circuits cost $150-$300 for the day, and Kyalami is normally about R3000, so we've still got it cheap at Red Star.
