TRD BRZ?

Is it possible to fit a BRZ with TRD parts? As far as I can tell, the FR-S and BRZ are the exact same cars by "Toyobaru" with different trims.

Of course you can... not sure when TRD parts will be available though.

Yes, it is possible. I will use TRD, SPT, STi, etc parts on my car. Which ever is more cost effective and or form/functional for me.

If there's a part I want on my car, I don't care who's name is on it. TRD, STI, RCE, etc. If it's a good product, it goes on the car. Hell, if the FR-S had all the day-to-day options and the BRZ was the stripped model, I'd be driving a Scion despite my love for Subarus.

Bust as for the OP's question. Pretty much any TRD part will fit the BRZ. The only thing would be the front bumper extension, and fog lights for obvious reasons. In fact, the TRD rear spoiler is specifically designed to replace the wing the the BRZ limited has as that wing is an option on the GT86 in Japan and other parts of the world.

Part of the reason I purchased this car is so that I can use OEM parts from two tuning houses. You literally double the amount of parts that are made to OEM spec...why would you ever want to limit that due to a name?

Since you have now mentioned that you are new here, logic would dictate that friendly users would indeed welcome you to this website. Live long and prosper and hopefully your wait for an 86 car will occur long before star date 2013 or later! Very. :happy0180:

I don't believe so. Actually last I saw the TRD spoiler was only available unpainted, black (Raven/CBS), or white (Whiteout/SWP). 5:AD spoiler only comes in FR-S colors (and I would think unpainted also).

Considering you have a Premium, get the 5:AD spoiler. It doesn't require drilling or existing holes in the trunk. Limited owners should go for the TRD since it will cover existing holes.
