In the article he mentions how a lot of very high end cars no longer even offer a stick shift, but what he fails to understand is that a lot of those cars are about ultimate performance, not driving pleasure. Also a lot of those cars aren't even about driving, they are about being seen in a car that costs more than many people will make in a decade or even a life time. I have spoken to very few people who own high perf sports cars like a lambo or ferrari who can even tell me anything about the car. All they know is it's cool and fast.
