The same kids when they get to a driving age will want our cars.. The Twins attract very positive energy.

Oddly enough, out of the thousand or so people I have talked to about the car the only negative energy I have ever seen was from other Twin owners.

I think you may have a point, I always try to acknowledge other twin drivers but its never reciprocated.

i pulled my freshly serviced, sparkling clean pp brz into the bank parking lot last week, and a man that had just parked his gorgeous brown proper-4-door rolls royce stared at my car for his whole walk to the bank door

hes probably never looked twice at such plebian cars as subarus or toyotas and just didnt know what it was

Same, I get stonewalled more often than not. More than half the time they don't even look. Which I think says more about their situational awareness as drivers than anything else, and that kind of concerns me too.

Sitting in the passenger seat at the gas station with the window down (this is my wife's car and she just finished filling up.) On the right, I hear Michael Jackson "Don't Stop Until You Get Enough" playing as loud as possible on a low-end factory stereo. Out of the corner of my eye, a white hatchback (Daewoo or something) pulls up.

"Don't make eye contact", I said to myself, but the song pulled me in and I glanced over. Staring right back at me is a 40-ish redneck looking guy with a Charlie Manson stare.

Charlie Manson: "That's a good looking car, what is it."
Me: "It's a BRZ"
Charlie Manson: "What's that?"
Me: "It's a Subaru."
Charlie Manson: "Ah, it looks nice."

By then, my wife was back in the car, so I was able to break with his stare, and we drove off.

We had a robot tech show up at work driving a BRZ. I was so happy that I may get to meet somebody driving one. He was about 45 or so and when he came out to his car I went over and introduced myself and pointed to my car. His response was an overwhelming "meh, I didn't know there was a Scion/Toyota version". He had zero interest in talking about the car and had just bought it because "it looks nice". We owners that hang out here, go to meets and wave to others tend to forget that we are the minority and most of these cars are sold to people that think it looks nice or was just a cheap second vehicle.

Totally agree. Although, sometimes it takes me a minute to notice other FR-S owners that have the stock headlights. The halogen DRLs look generic at a distance. If the car is a dark color I sometimes don't spot them until they get closer.

But then there is the other group that probably looked at the Civic Coupe, Scion TC, Kia Koup, and the like, before they settled on a Twin. So they really don't give a shit.

The other day, someone with a modded red FR-S went crazy flashing me when he spotted me. I appreciated that.

I used to flash other owners, but decided they might think it obnoxious.

bruh. You don't want to drive in oncoming against me then. I swear I could get probably get arrested for how much I high beam other twins, I'm even tempted to honk sometimes or hazards. I should probably get flood lights and flash those suckers at people
