And yeah let me know if you find a plug of some sort, and Toyota of Bellevue is nice, I have a buddy who works there. They have/had a blue one fully kitted out with all the TRD goodies except they put some generic Focal wheels on it, if it had the stock wheels or TRD wheels, I would've gotten it, it'd have saved me the hassle of getting the TRD shifter, exhaust, and sway bars myself, and I would've had no front plate, and been sitting on TRD springs until I get around to coilovers.

By the way, they didn't just change out for generic Focal wheels for show, I saw that they actually used the stock 2017 wheels and put them on some used FR-S since we all know those cars had shitty looking wheels.
Haha! I could be wrong but that car might be mine. I had them take off the sway bars and replace the wheels with the special edition ones. Mine left the lot with TRD springs, exhaust, and the blackout kit.

And you might be right about the air filter - I can't recall where I read it. I'll have to look into that Works filter.

When did Subaru offer an alternative to WRB? In the UK we've had WRB, White, Red, Black and Silver. I assumed it's the same in other markets.

For a year or two, they offered BRZ's in a darker blue, and since Toyota can't use Subaru's trademark WRB, they continue to just use Subaru's Lapis Blue.

Shit, that's the one I was interested in!

The only reason I didn't get it was because of their overpriced excuse for a blackout kit + black Focal generic wheels, if it had stock badges and stock wheels, that definitely would've been my go-to, but I'm content with mine, my car was $25.4k after the $1,000 rebate, roughly $27k-ish out the door after everything. That car's MSRP was close to $30k wasn't it?

So I may have spent an unreasonable amount of time trying to talk myself out of purchasing the OE CF reproduction wing... I'm still trying to convince myself I don't need it, it looks beautiful on your car man. Great build, excited to see where this goes!

Yeah, I didn't want to pay for the blackout kit as well but my friend was a salesmen at the dealership so I got a decent deal. I ended up walking out with the car around 28k invoice and around 30k out the door. If I had to do it again, I probably wouldn't pay for the blackout kit but I'm still happy with it. Saved me some time for things I would've done anyways.

Ahhh, gotcha. Yeah, they slapped on the special edition wheels for me since they didn't have any stock wheels. It wasn't a huge deal for me since I was going to replace the wheels anyways.

The lowering springs are nice but I'm already itching to get some coils! Have you already installed the Works filter? And if so, how do you like it?

Actually that leads right into my next build update...

So I got my Works Filter and Perrin Inlet Hose in today! Not sure when I'm gonna get around to putting them in. I have the TRD exhaust on the way, I wanted to get that on first and foremost, because if I do the Perrin Inlet Hose now the cabin will be too quiet because of the sound generator delete. Thanks for the plate frame Perrin, but unfortunately I'm already reppin' TRD

Also have some under the hood stuff on the way also. Hood struts, a strut tower brace, battery tie-down, and the TRD exhaust.

The hose removes a resonator and actually makes the intake louder and more consistent than with the sound generator. Found this out when doing it on my car and was pleasantly surprised.

Oh that's neat. But yeah I'm gonna do some exhaust and intake stuff around the same time.

Well... the build is gonna be put on hold for a few weeks most likely, so this happened...

I won't get into the personal details of why or how this happened, but long story short this guy I knew from high school has some sort of immature grudge against me and decided to do this.

Holy shit... If you have proof, you should call the cops. Short of murdering him. If that had happened to me, I would be on a manhunt.

Sorry this happened to you man... hopefully it's just the windshield and not any damage to the paint/structure (not sure if that's what I see on the top).

I don't have concrete evidence but incidents such as this have been a recurring issue, and they magically disappear every time he goes to jail. He slashed the tires on the car I drove before I bought this one which is actually my mom's car, and a friend of mine did get him to admit it but only in person so still no evidence.

Oh and yeah there's enough damage on the roof, a-pillar, and hood that I think all that needs to be replaced, thankfully I have insurance, unfortunately I have a $1000 deductible.

holy crap, sorry to hear that man. That sucks. May I suggest video surveillance of some kind? On the car or on the premises, pointed towards the car

I second what he says. Especially if this is a recurring event, I would want video evidence.

Granted you shouldn't need one if people weren't ****heads but here we are...

And I could be wrong but do you live in an apartment complex? Maybe they have some surveillance?
