Wide body with no engine mods?

So I've had my 16 FRS for almost two and I love the cars engine I don't want to do anything to it cause want to keep it as reliable as possible, but I also love the look of the wide body kits? So my question is how do you guys view cars that have body kits with nothing done to the drive train?

It's your car do what you want.

Just know there will be many that would point and laugh. Just don't look at them. Just like the hella flush.... now it's "stance" crowd. Eh some people love circle jerk parking lot meets others love jerking solo going around on a track. To each their own.....or what ever gets you off.

I never read that unwritten rule that rocket bunny has to be accompanied a turbo kit. I think you'll be fine

There's ton of people that does this without getting their engine modded.

Just do you man, who gives a fuck what other people are thinking about you, unless you're very insecure about yourself overall.

A build is a build, do what makes you happy.

I like the look for show cars, or vehicles that run wide tires because they have a turbo kit or conversion.

Personally, I couldn't look someone in the face and tell them it only makes 160-ish wheel hp, despite having massive tires.

Someone can fill me in (pun) with what width tires you should roll with when running a wide body kit. I feel like 295+ would be right. But seems like overkill for the power levels.

That's why I am generally against it. The whole all show no go is something I'm too insecure about.

But if you want to spend the cash, by all means. I only ask that you make no pretense about it. If someone catches you saying 'oh yea, its a wide body because it can beat an R35,' you get your car taken away from you.

I think the Rocket Bunny style over-flanders suck ass regardless of how fast or slow the car is. Personal preference though. Just like I want to vomit every time I see a car rolling down the street with no rear bumper and a giant chassis mount wing.

To each their own.

Socially friendly answer: to each his own.

Honest answer: if you have the bark, you gotta have the bite. Take the extra time and save up to get both performance mods and the wide body kit. Just think of all the times people will ask you what's under the hood, and you explain and see the disappointment on their faces. It'll bother you every time.

yeah this where I stand with my car I love what little power is does have and I can't justify the cost make it faster only to make up unreliable. But I'm also bored with the looks of the car, I'm thinking if I did I would do a RBv2 but glass it to just body and get rid of the bolted on look and as far as to how wide idd make the tires I wouldn't do a 335/30r18 like c10 has just enough to be tasteful and no wings and I wouldn't Put a loud exhaust on it agine just tasteful but something like the car in this picture

Bosozoku is not tasteful to begin with. Its purpose is rebellious exaggeration.

Go big or go home.

I don't think idd ever go as far as Bosozoku style car with the crazy mile high exhaust tip or diving bored front spoiler with stretched 13-15inch wheels
