Some people have an issue with their car called forced induction. It destroys MPG hahaha.

Mine is pretty simple:

(109,439 Miles) / (3,311.57 GAL-US) = 33.05 MPG Lifetime

I don't disagree with you, and I don't worry about it, just have the habit of tracking these things with my vehicles. I have been amazed at the mileage I've received from the FRS. I was going to be quite happy with anything in the mid 20s frankly.

Yet I do neither of these unless you consider "highway" two lane backroads run at speed (or slightly above).

I'm not surprised by the wide range of mileage folks get, that's going to be true with any stock car. If you took any car on the market and handed out to the drivers having this discussion, we would most likely get the same spread, and I would wager it would be at almost the exact same ratios.

By the same token, if you took us all, but us in the car on a track, we would most likely all run out of fuel within a few minutes of each other. It's all very situational.

I track mine, too, it's just that I don't obsess (not saying you or others do) about it. It turns gas into fun, and worth every penny. I'm on the low end of the scale, and I consider anything over 25 to be good. I also see how low I can drive the MPG every now and then as well.

Low mileage is jut something I expect as a result of the way a drive most of the time. Hoping that the 86 OFT E85 tunes are released before winter, so I can really drop that MPG number.
