I'd much rather have a stock-looking q-ship than something that looks like it should be racing in GT3 that can't get out of its own way. Another aspect of being an old fart, I guess.

Welcome to Toronto where it only needs to LOOK fast for the major street cred.

Loudness is the street-cred indicator around here.

You sound sour about it haha, its like that everywhere - the states is worse. But I understand the confusion of thinking this was my car - the jump to conclusion tsk tsk. You can clearly see the plastic windows and cage + look at that rubber. Has no tread...they would be destroyed after 30 mins in Toronto.

No this is actually 1 of 2 cars that run the CTCC. I'm just really good friends with the team, so they let me share some of the photos around with their permission. Its nice to be around a dedicated race team and learn. They recently switched to the 86 platform after winning 2nd and 3rd overall season with 2 genesis.

Just wanted to share some extra fun around the forums. One is EJ swapped other is running a turbo on the FA20. Thats all I can say unfortunately.

That is cool to have that chance.

There was an article in Car & Driver or Road & Track (I think) back in the days when it was on a stone tablet that talked about how aero on a street car was mostly useless and caused more drag than downforce. Some of it is probably still relevant.

Knock yourself out for cosmetic reasons, but it still looks funny on a street car.

There will always be a drag penalty when adding downforce, that's why l/d is important to manage the efficiency. Saying it is "useless" sounds like un(der)inforemed media.
