I love me some Flintstones but have to bow to you as the consummate expert on the subject!

I think the animators just got lazy sometimes.
Not to mention that apparently the car can be driven from either side.

Come on Man! On of those is a hot little import 2 seat furrin' job and the other is a 4 seat family sedan.

Well to be fair Fred and I used to be shift mates as you can see below. I'm the one on the bottom left, before I lost most my hair, and got a real job.
