My condolences.

Shame you didn't compromise and check out the numerous awesome fun turbo hot hatches on the market now, they easily get gas mileage as good as or better than an 86 if you can keep your foot out of it. GTI, Mini, FoST/FiST, abarth, etc. And cheaper than a Prius too.

I would have thought the Prius C would make more sense if you were even remotely interested in that. Of course you'd have to drive it in reverse everywhere but hey.

The car came with 6k of tax credits and a carpool sticker so for a daily it’s perfect. I average over 100mpg with my daily commute 90% EV mode and rest in hybrid mode
I would like to thank everyone for there inputs

Congrats on your purchase. Been thinking of purchasing one myself. Can it run on just regular hybrid mode? Like not charging it for a few day or do you need to charge it everyday?

Yes you don't have to charge it, it will just run like a regular hybrid, Overall I like it, but it's just super boring to drive, the radar cruise control is super nice to drive in traffic.
