When you ask what the OE alternator is, it will be Bosch.
So, if you buy a Bosch alternator, it is OE.

However, Bosch may also sell brake rotors.
But, ATE or Zimmerman are the OE suppliers for BMW rotors.
But, Bosch rotors can be accurately labelled as OEM
since Bosch does supply OE parts, just not brakes.

I am only ever talking about OE parts, not OEM.
Thanks, intellectually superior person for pointing this out to me!

You know what? Congrats you proved your point, Denso/Mitsubishi/Aisin/Nippon/etc. don't regularly sell their parts to third party dealers so you can buy one without a Toyobaru logo but with someone else's 'reputable' logo for x% less than the online dealerships currently charge like Bosch/ATE/etc have to do to move the spare parts they build because they don't sell enough parts through dealerships with massive markups.

Sorry you're stuck with us degenerate Japanese car owners for the foreseeable future. Please post up when you find that screaming deal on a radiator oh wise one.

What a near perfect daily driver. I've been telling everyone I know how insanely great it is.
They hit this one out of the ballpark, and that's the only reason I've left the cheap parts prices of the Iron Curtain.

But how will you afford the $7 oil filters

What are these clips? Then can't figure out how they work.

Where do I get a stock wheel? Ironically a 30 second Google search.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=121311

Ask about loose mirror and then immediately crap on response.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=121145

And one of my all time favourites
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=121411

No one else has posted how to undo the clips except me.

Stock wheel? A Google search leads to reconditioned wheels and dealers. NEVER buy a reconditioned wheel.
New wheels? Now we know. You can only buy from the dealer. When I posted, I had not figured out the parts monopoly conspiracy.

I don't want to drop my car at a dealership for a week because of my loose mirror. That's crapping on a response? No.

Brake pads? Well, I've never seen such oddly designed calipers in my life. You can't even see the brake pad without removing the caliper.
Pardon me for not knowing if my pads are worn. Every other car, you just look at the pad. Not here.

Because nobody else had an issue figuring it out.

I provided you with several links to new wheels well below dealer price.

Ok so crapping on the dealer and not being bothered to fix something you directly complained about.

Every other car? There you go with the absolutes again. It isn't an unusual design in the least.

You also realise that OEM does not equal OE right? Parts made for a car manufacturer are made to their specs and their quality requirements and may (and usually do) differ from the aftermarket parts. Parts made for aftermarket by the exact same company may not meet those same criteria. In the sample struts you gave there was a specific part for BMW and then one that may look the same that says "will fit these BMWs". I asked how you knew they were identical and never received a reply. So how do you know they are identical? Just because they are made by the same company does not mean they are made the same.

to OP:

I was bored.

Here's a list of suppliers for the Impreza. Since I could not find anything for BRZ this will have to do to answer your question.

Good luck finding your OE parts for half the manufacturers on this list.

He doesn't need to. He doesn't own a BRZ. He rides the bus to his school janitor job.
