Pretty sure you have to go to them - they are in Northmead.
http://tintwizard.com.au/Contactus.html PS. FT86_Zero can you ask them if the tint type is called 'Quantum' - I'm told by a work mate that this is their premium tint. I've also been told that this tint take almost a month to settle so be prepared to have bubbles for that period. |

Please see below questions I collected from you guys and response from Jeff in blue.
1. You mentioned the $245 is the only special price for Winter, so say from Now till September? Can you tell a specific date? (As many of the 86 buyer will get their cars in Sep/Oct/Nov, so I am guessing if the special price is only for winter, it is hard for them to get in.) 2. What kind of film are you using? Quantum film made buy solar-guard, the best technology in the world I have use there product for 22 years 3. Do you come over or we take the car to your work shop? The job needs to be done in our shop to get a good quality job 4. Can you provide more information on tint options? I am just offing you the best quality tint with the best warranty , any option under what I am offering is now where near as good , this will protect your investment Also I is better for you guys to come in and we will show you the difference on our working heat display. 1. Another thing just to tickle your fancy, we do body warp and carbon fibre vinyls etc, lookup www.facebook.com/creativejuicelab Jeff doesn't answer to question 1... |

I've never tinted a car and only done limited research. With that in mind, here are my comments:
- There's quite a bit of debate about the pros and cons of tinting on the interwebs. Very different to paint protection where it appears Opti-Coat has won. It's complex because it's a balance between Visible Light Transmission (VLT) and solar energy rejection (SER). - A good graph for providing food for thought can be found here. It plots VLT (which we want lots of) against solar energy rejection (which we also want lots of). If the data on the graph is trustworthy, a good guide of performance and "SG - Quan" stands for Solarguard Quantum, then it leads one to question the legitimacy of the statement that "[Solarguard Quantum] is the best technology in the world" as there are about 8 other products providing a better VLT to SER ratio. Please note that there are a lot of If statements leading up to that comment before you care to tear me apart. - A highly detailed study was conducted in queensland a few years ago. You can find a link to it here. I can't remember the outcomes, sorry, but happy for someone to digest it and report back. - Glass without additional tinting film already does a pretty good job protecting against harmful UV, as per this cancer council briefing. - Finally, I would be a little cautious about having a dealer bundle it, as that outsources its installation to "faceless men" who work to a budget and not to a service level. Please remember that the cost of a product can extend far beyond the sticker price, and a bad product or installation could end up with significant cost, either directly or indirectly. I'm not saying don't get tint. I am saying get educated before you do. At least that's what I'm trying to do but it ain't easy. Hopefully this forum can help. |

If anyone needs tinting contact ground zero tints in blacktown, they done my 86 for 160 and they're comfortable doing other 86's.

I'm sitting in the Hungry Jacks opposite Tintwizard right now, waiting for my 86 to get done. Was worried about the brake light but he said there shouldn't be a problem.
