Agreed. This yellow looks much better than the old Sonic Yellow that the WRX came dressed in. My frustration was any body parts that were body colored never came in sonic yellow. Plus, it was a very hard color to match once it started to fade. I always wanted the STi grill and fog lamps for my WRX but never could get the paint correct.
However, I'm leaning towards yellow to replace my 2105 ICM. The yellow on black wheels just looks too sharp. |

Series Yellow is just a Limited with PP in yellow paint, right? Wish I could get over the yellow color, still prefer WRB.

The WRB with PP I had my name on at Carlsen Subaru is now in their stock. Maybe they'll offer it to you for the $2K below invoice they did me. I merely clicked their e-price button on their website and that was the deal they gave me. I'm curious if you'd get that, too. You can do a fly and ride. SFO isn't that far from Redwood City.

Probably a hard sell because it almost would have to be a second car. Alot of people wouldn't drive a bright yellow car as a daily, especially if you have to pay extra.

Plus it's a limited model, so Subaru isn't losing money making these cars that the majority of people wouldn't drive as a daily. That being said, the Series.Yellow seems to be less popular than the other limited edition BRZ models judging by the number of them still on dealer lots in Cali. |

The yellow is better as a daily driver due to the visibility. Folks in SUVs and trucks don't see small cars. I've had way more people rapidly swerve back into their lane in the last month of owing my Series.Yellow then in years of drive a dark gray GTI. I was always getting driven into in that car. It appears yellow gets their attention in rear view mirrors even though I'm in a shorter car. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I love my series.yellow for daily driving! It's unique without being over the top, imo.

How do Series Yellow owners feel about the 2018 BRZ tS? I only ask because I was on the fence about my local dealer's Series Yellow up until the BRZ tS was confirmed.

I considered it, but realized it would be very expensive and frankly, wouldn't have wanted the giant wing. Sure the STI bits are cool, but I'd rather add them at another point.

Yeah, the 2017 wing is exactly as much as I want visually. The tS wing takes things a little too far for my taste.

I feel the same way. I also wouldn't want to pay any more for the car if more power is not included. The STI bits aren't interesting to me. The PP items are good enough for a car mainly used as my daily driver.

Despite the seemingly slow sales, with only 500 available in the US, how do you think the Series Yellow will do in the used market in the future? Better, same or worse than a normal color BRZ w/ PP?
