I eat McDonald's like 4 or 5 times per month. Usually when I'm doing a long haul drive. Sometimes when I finish work late though. Nothing like having a 20 piece McNugget meal and a big Mac in one sitting.

I wonder if that's why I've gained 60 pounds or so since I got this job...

Mickey Deez is evil. Tasty, but evil. I'd be lying if I didn't admit to giving in to a big mac, a quarter pounder w/cheese, and large fries a few times a year.

Yeah, that's my thing. I keep it to a minimum.

I haven't ate McD's since the first half of college. lol. So it's been almost 10 years for me. I stopped eating there cuz my stomach couldn't handle their burgers anymore. If I had to eat anything there, it would be the apple pie.

The only fast food burgers I can stomach now are Habit Burger and In-N-Out.

But I do remember when I was young, McD's had a $0.15 cheeseburgers on Wednesdays. The first Wednesday they did that, my family must have ordered like 40 of them (there were only 5 of us). LOL.

It's more than likely just their regular "original" hamburger. They do promotions including those quite frequently. So, basically it tastes like onions, pickles, mustard and ketchup on a cheap bun.

NJ resident here. There are like 3 or 4 whitecastles near me. Definite guilty pleasure. So bad but so good.

I don't often eat McDonalds. Last week, I watched "The Founder" on Netflix. I had to pause the movie in the middle, run to McDonalds, and eat hamburgers while watching.

Weird Huh?

I'm sort of neutral with Mickey Dee's. I don't think it's much better or worse than other major chain fast food burgers. I do on occasion get a "hankerin'" for a simple throwback type burger, which is pretty much all that was available during my misspent youth, and for that they are OK.

They do offer some really good deals on their app as well. Lot of buy one get one stuff. I don't take advantage of it but I know some of my son's college buddies do it regularly to stretch their budget.

If I want what I call a "old school" simple burger my order of preference is:
  • Any Lunch Counter (preferably in a drugstore, chain drugstores have pretty much killed that though)
  • Waffle House
  • Wendy's
  • McDonald's
  • Burger King
