Yeah, I already had to replace my plate frame. And it bent my California plate I was planning to hang on my wall so I had to bend it back into shape. I'm hoping nothing happens to my new IL plates and the replacement frame :P

I mean, I know my car is small, but sheesh.

Installed 15mm spacers. Not a huge difference (a little more than 1/2") but just enough to close up the fender gap. (left - before, right - after)

So I've been jumping around from one project to another lately... I finally got back on my Rising Sun '17 Intake manifold cover today... I just need to line up the throttle body cutout left and right then make the cut then make a few other adjustments and verifications.

Then it will be time to paint... white... probably a pearlescent white and a anodized red.

It will be installed like this when complete...

Also, I finally decided to upgrade my DSLR from a Nikon D90 to a D750 last night. I sold my old camera to my sister then picked up both the D750 and a 50mm 1.8 Nikon lens.

I bought my car used a few months ago and just noticed a sticker in the door panel area. Not that I car about 4 lbs. carrying capacity, but does anyone else have this sticker? Just curious what it actually means.

Damn you are lucky. You might have gotten a special lightweight version

Yea, mine has one, but it is blank. I always wondered why it was blank. It is right in your face when you open the driver door.

It pretty much means exactly what it says. Although most folks don't notice it cars have a load capacity associated with them. Something changed after the load/weight information was originally published on the car (a sticker also inside the door somewhere) and they had to post this for legal reasons.

Technically, every accessory added to a car, which adds to it's "empty" weight reduces it's load capacity. Not sure what drove this specific one.

My 2013 has one as well:

Today I Registered for The Formula Drift Idlewerks Car Show at the Texas Motor Speedway... It will be held on September the 9th.

This show will mark the first time I show with my new team out of Dallas... Team MisFits

I will also be showing with them at SPOCOM Dallas on October 14th and more than likely (at least me) Wekfest Houston on October 7th.

Our team has an awesome photographer whom I hope to pick some things up from... check out his IG page Zeon Photos

Hope to meet some of you Texas folk at one of the aforementioned shows!

These cars came as monospec... but the port of entry could add items like floor mats, trunk liners, etc which would affect the vehicle weight as delivered. This sticker reflects the weight of the port added options to your car.
